Choose by material and project size. For general wood, leather, paper, and craft engraving, K15 Pro, A1 Pro, X1, and X1 Pro are good diode laser options. For acrylic cutting and larger sheets, choose C1 CO2. For compact high-speed marking, choose Z3. For metal marking, choose Z12 or Z11 fiber. For UV-sensitive or delicate materials, choose G2 UV.
Most diode laser machines can use CutLabX, LightBurn, or LaserGRBL depending on your workflow. Z3 uses its dedicated Engraver workflow. G2 uses Sapphire/SapphireMark. Fiber laser machines may use BSL or LightBurn depending on configuration. Always download the software package that matches your exact model.
