Laser Engraver FAQ: Shipping, Usage, Software & After-Sales Support

Product Help Center & FAQ

We understand the concerns every customer has regarding "whether they will receive the goods" when shopping online.
  • Official Direct Sales: All products are directly sold and shipped by Carverall Official, and every order generates a real and valid order number.
  • Trackable Logistics: After the order is shipped, we provide a logistics tracking number, allowing for full inquiries throughout the transportation process.
  • Professional Experience: We have years of international shipping experience, delivering large equipment to countries like the US and Europe, with manual customer service following up on orders
  • Payment Security: The website supports secure payment methods such as Credit Card and PayPal, providing extra protection for your funds in case of logistics or order anomalies.

The colors presented by laser engraving are not fixed, nor are they directly "colored" by the machine. The effect is determined by material characteristics, laser power, speed, and focus settings.
  • Wood and Leather: These undergo carbonization under high temperatures, presenting effects ranging from light brown to dark brown or even black.
  • Fabric and Cardboard: Usually show a change in the original color after ablation; contrast depends on the material composition.
  • Variability: The same material can produce different engraving colors under different parameters.

Note: Laser engraving cannot directly achieve specific color effects. High requirements for color contrast or effects usually require material selection, parameter adjustment, or post-processing.

👉 Please visit: Carverall Official Warranty Policy Page.If the laser engraver you purchased requires maintenance or after-sales support during use, please refer to our official warranty policy. Specific warranty coverage, terms, and maintenance instructions are detailed on the official page.

If you have questions about warranty terms or are unsure if an equipment issue is covered, contact our customer service team for assistance.

We support shipping to most countries and regions worldwide. As long as there is regular international express or logistics service available, delivery can usually be arranged. If a remote area or special address is encountered after ordering, we will contact you in advance to confirm before arranging shipment.

Blue laser engravers are suitable for various fabrics, with some specific recommendations:
  • Weight Requirement: Heavyweight clothing (recommended over 300g) results in clearer and more stable engraving effects.
  • Suitable Materials: Cotton blends, leather, thick fabrics, etc.
  • Unsuitable Materials: Quick-dry fabrics (e.g., polyester), pure cotton black clothing, and white or blue clothing.

Operation Tip: Always perform a small area test before formal processing. For thin or special materials, avoid high power to prevent burning through the fabric.

Our laser engravers support multiple software controls, including CutLabX and LightBurn.
  • CutLabX: Developed officially by us, it features a simple interface and full functionality, supporting engraving, cutting, image import, and parameter adjustment. It is suitable for both beginners and professional users.
  • LightBurn: A standard software in the laser industry, it is powerful and supports advanced graphic design and complex paths, suitable for experienced users.

Both programs support importing vector graphics and images while allowing adjustments to power, speed, and resolution.

Blue and red laser modules differ in wavelength, power, suitable materials, and precision:
  • Blue Laser (approx. 450nm): Short wavelength with concentrated energy, suitable for high-precision, detailed engraving on acrylic, wood, leather, paper, and fabric.
  • Red Laser (approx. 650nm): Longer wavelength, suitable for metal materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. It can produce clear patterns on non-coated metal surfaces.

Parameters (power, speed, focal length) vary based on material type and processing needs.

Use this page to find recommended parameters for various materials, improving efficiency and avoiding material waste.

YunExpress: Usually arrives within 7–15 days.

UPS or FedEx: Usually arrives within 3–8 days.

Specific delivery times may fluctuate due to destination, customs, and holidays. For more policies, visit: Shipping Policy Page

Purifiers and Air Pumps:
  • MD2 (Purifier): Purifies smoke and dust during engraving to improve air quality; must be used with a cover to form a closed loop.
  • MD12 (Air Pump): Provides stable airflow to the engraving area, reducing carbon buildup on edges and helping with smoke exhaustion during cutting.
Rotary Attachments:
  • MD18: Suitable for irregular cylinders, such as rings or curved jewelry.
  • MD19: Suitable for regular cylinders, such as water cups or cylindrical bottles.

Laser engraving is a physical carbonization or ablation process, not using inks or dyes. Therefore, under correct operation, patterns are very durable and will not easily fade.
  • Fabrics: Hand washing or gentle cycles are recommended; avoid high-heat drying or bleach.
  • Hard Materials: On wood, leather, acrylic, or metal, patterns are nearly permanent and will not wear off or fade like printing.

To maintain performance and lifespan, the machine needs rest after periods of operation. It can work continuously for about 5 hours, after which we recommend a 30-minute rest to let the laser head and circuits cool down. Avoid non-stop high-power work to prevent overheating.

Yes, the laser engraver can perform basic tasks on its own; accessories are for auxiliary functions. For example, a honeycomb plate is necessary for cutting, a rotary fixture is for cylindrical objects ,and a red laser head is for metal engraving.

We support the DDP policy, meaning in most regions, shipping and duties are handled by us at the time of shipment so customers do not need to pay extra.

Currently, international express does not support Cash on Delivery (COD) due to payment risks and complex cross-border logistics/customs processes.Orders must be paid in advance.

  • Returns: We support return applications for shipping damage, quality issues, or order discrepancies. Details: Refund Policy .
  • Lifespan: The laser head has a lifespan of approximately 10,000 hours. Once exhausted, you only need to replace the laser head rather than the entire machine.
